A Christmas Look: Two Sweaters
The festive season of early December might be my favorite all year round! As you know I recently started off a capsule wardrobe with the intent of dressing with more versatility and thoughtfulness. In this capsule I included a boucle sweater from J.Crew Factory which has been a piece I’m continually leaning toward! It is warm, textured, and a nice fit (not too bulky). I am not one to layer sweaters often, so I was really impressed when I wore it over this camel crewneck with the built-in tartan collar. I loved how festive it looked and it created two totally different looks! Alone, the tartan woven collar sweater hits just right at the hip and is very flattering. I wore this look to the Christmas Market this weekend where we got our family’s Christmas tree. I wanted to be comfortable walking around the nursery so I paired it with a my tried & true Madewell Jeans and Vince Camuto suede booties. Its a festive, yet pulled-together and perfect for work with a pair of black pants or even wide leg trousers and a heel.
Would you ever layer up sweaters?
