Seasonal Wedding Inspiration: Autumn

I've been toying with the idea of starting a new mini series about all things wedding here on the good ol' blog. So here we go! This is purely to indulge my pinterest obsession (I've been pinning here for yeeeears). Some parts of wedding planning are not exactly fun, but this part is! We can't wait to get into more of the fun planning details as we get closer to our date. It's all really happening - S has been so great in making sure I enjoy every last step. This past week we hit the one year countdown mark (October 27) and we are SO excited. It's finally feeling real! There is so much to do...

All of the vibes in the pics above are what I'm feeling right now. Our venue is a countryside beaut that will easily lend itself to all things autumn. It will be partly outdoors so I am daydreaming often about what it will look like. I am envisioning orange leaves on the trees, a chilly brisk evening of dancing and gallivanting, lots of calligraphy, cozy and savory hor d'ouvres, and of course, lots of beautiful jewel-toned florals everywhere.

I plan on blogging about my wedding journey here, not just about inspiration, but also the real challenges and joys that we will inevitably encounter along the way. So, here's to the one-year countdown! We are beyond excited and grateful!
