Fresh Mediterranean Pita
I am a little impressed and surprised with myself that I made pita bread the other day. It was a 5-ingredient recipe from here, and while I do not think they came out quite as perfectly, they were just fine in my book!
Paired excellently with some hummus or olive oil, this made a great fun appetizer/side dish. It doesn’t hold well over a few days, so it is best enjoyed right out of the skillet. What I loved about this was that it is a no-bake recipe! So, I was able to prepare everything ahead of time and not let the kitchen get overheated (it was one of those July days where the heat index was over 100).
Would I make it again? Maybe. I’ll be honest, it is tedious and a little P.I.T.A if you get my drift :)
