#PaperDogCardExchange Calligraphy

This post is suuuuuper late, but I wanted to share some pretty shots from the Valentine's Day Card Exchange I participated in! It was a fun way to get some pretty snail mail and see beautiful calligraphy from all sorts of talented letters. Thank you to @paperdogcalligraphy for hosting and organizing this lovely little collab!

For my cards, which I made myself, I decided to go for a vellum paper with white ink. I found really pretty rosy and floral prints from Hobby Lobby. I love the smooth texture and it looked very crisp with a nice red contrast. In the pictures, the cards appear pink, thanks to the translucent nature of the vellum.

For my envelopes, I did a rich gold. Honestly, these were leftovers from packs I purchased elsewhere. For my 12 recipients, I decided to go with a funky format of envelope addressing! I did a sideways sort of format, which I actually loved. No fear of off-centered text here :)
