Antique Gold Mirror Seating Chart

2021 is been a slow start getting back into wedding, but working on this beauty was refreshing! For this stunning event, I worked with the bride, J, who has such a kind heart. With the wedding originally planned for April 2020, I recall the painstaking search the bride went through to find the “perfect mirror” for her seating chart. The couple chose an antique-style gold framed mirror of superior quality. It was a heavy one, but the mirror was a beautiful choice. It was so clearly chosen with love and excitement to hold the seating chart for the bride and groom’s guests.

J’s wedding truly looked like the most relaxed, intimate, glamorous and sweet occasion, so I am hoping for them it was worth the wait. I am such a fan of smaller weddings. The intimacy and romance is something you just can’t match. As guests, you can really enjoy everyone’s company. When I found out that the guest list was under 50, I got excited about the possible flourishes and layouts that we could incorporate, since we had room on this grand mirror! I absolutely loved styling it with soft silk ribbons and olive sprigs for that elegant, romantic look.

The bride also commissioned me for two original watercolors of her AMAZING dogs, Ryder and Brody! They were used for the couple’s signature drink signs. It is always so fun to see what drinks the wedding party chooses, too! I loved painting them and trying to capture their sweet faces, furry coats, and special traits.

The understated elegance of this gold mirror is one of my all-time favorites. I really am so grateful for this bride’s sweet patience and trust in me. I hope this mirror hangs in their future home, holding many happy memories!
