A Walk Through A European Christmas Market
Have you ever set foot in a place and everything is just…beautiful?
I mean, Christmastime certainly tends to bring out the beauty in a lot of places. When I heard about the European Christmas Market at Hortulus Farm in Newtown, my interest was piqued and I immediately thought of city squares in Germany or Italy bedecked with string lights, velvety Christmas stockings, cheerful fires and lanterns, and the smell of Christmas cookies wafting through the air. We have nothing like that here in the USA, so you bet that I was excited to check out this event.
The property at Hortulus Farms has been transformed into a wintry wonderland. Everywhere you turn, there is fresh greenery, sparkling lights, candles flickering, and of course, thriving plants! We went opening weekend and it was truly an all-morning event. We chose our Christmas tree, sipped hot chocolate, shopped, and capped off the morning with baby’s first visit with Santa. No detail was unattended!
I am so thrilled about our new family tradition of this Christmas Market. I am so excited to see what other events Hortulus Farms throws for the rest of the year!
