Pumpkin Scouting Guide
This feels like it might be the most ridiculously random blog post I have ever posted! But how fun!? Fall is in full swing and why not. Welcome to my Bucks County Pumpkin Scouting Guide.
I love a good collection of pumpkins…and let me tell you, pumpkins are not cheap. After a drought this summer and rising costs for farms (and everyone, really) it makes sense that we are seeing the cost of pumpkins rise. So I am rounding up some of my favorite pumpkin farms (and farm stores in general) for you to support, especially this fall, as its the best season of the year!
Solly Bros.
Solly’s is my #1 pick and it is where I got all of my pumpkins this year! They have a beautiful selection and they actually know so much about the different varieties as well as the new hybrids they offer (such as the “Porcelain Doll” pink pumpkin). I adore Solly’s this time of year, for their legendary apple cider donuts and pies (I simply do not shop for pies anywhere else for the holidays!). Solly’s is simple, accessible, and so picturesque! I love when they have the Big Pumpkin all lit up - I pass it every day on my way to work!| Ivyland, PA
Windy Springs Farm
I happened upon this cute not-so-little farm stand before traveling up the 476 PA turnpike. It’s located right before the tollbooth so it’s a great location if you are traveling from the turnpike. They had an amazing array of pumpkins, gourds and all sorts of fall produce! | Quakertown, PA
Hellericks Family Farm
Hellerick’s is a fun family place with tons to do! We went to see the goats here earlier this summer, and vowed to come back during the fall to explore more of their offerings! This is a great place geared towards people seeking activities and things to do. I also love that they have more than just a great selection of pumpkins, but also flowers (photoshoots!) and lots of you-pick crops. | Doylestown, PA
Eastburn Farm
I feel like Eastburn’s Farm in Pineville is the place to go if you are looking for seriously LARGE pumpkins! Their pumpkins and gourds are beautifully organized. Not to mention, the fields are beautiful and so picturesque. It’s worth a stop for sure! | Pineville, PA
None Such Farm
Fun fact - when I was a baby, None Such was the place where I picked my very first pumpkin! None Such Farm is another beautiful farm located in Buckingham amid rolling fields. They have a great market, and their crops are 100% non-GMO. | Buckingham, PA
