Welcome to my blog! My name is Taylor and I’ve been sharing my style, travels, coffee adventures, and simple moments of joy here since 2010. My goal is to share the things I love by way of my own photography. Now, my focus is on living intentionally amid the noise and doing the things I love: reacquainting myself with my own 30something style, creating a happy home, photography, and everything in between. Even still, my favorite things to capture are everyday moments.
Glad to be checking in on the other side of winter (or so it feels)! It has been a few months of ice and snow, and while it has been cozy and refreshing, it hasn’t been without its difficulties. I am reveling in the stronger rays of light, afternoon walks, bluebird days with warmer temperatures, and the bursts of crocuses I have seen out the window on my morning commute (image via).

We woke up on Sunday, Feb 7 (also Super Bowl Sunday) to a beautiful scene out of our window. A fresh coating of snow, falling softly yet robustly. I knew I wanted to film while the snowflakes were still heavy, so out I went with my tripod and 50 mm!

Covid-19 has thrown such a curveball our way, and while many of us are fortunate to simply be “stuck at home” some of us are much more deeply impacted. So many have lost loved ones, are in a distressing financial situation, or having to put life’s big milestones on hold.
Read MoreAs I type this, the snow is gently falling at our doorstep in thick, lush heaps! It is truly so magical and such an enchanting way to ring in the first of February. I feel so grateful for the natural break that this snow has afforded me - not 1 but 2 total snow days so far - it could not come at a more needed time. I feel selfish admitting it, and even silly for expressing it here.
